Apparently, the CIA once spent $20 million turning a cat into a spy only to watch it get run over by a taxi. Reminding us of this fact is journalist Emily Anthes with her newly released book about engineering animals called "Frankenstein's Cat: Cuddling Up to Biotech's Brave New Beasts."
