A double texting traffic stop leads to a drug bust.
Recently, deputies in Alabama pulled over a car that was weaving in and out of traffic.
The 19-year-old driver told authorities that he was driving the car with his two knees because both of his hands were busy sending text messages. He went on to say that he had been “double texting” since the age of 15.
A male passenger was in the front while a 3-year-old child along with two women were seated in the back of the vehicle. To make matters even worse, prescription drugs along with approximately $4,500 were also found in the car.
Deputies also discovered that the front sitting passenger was hiding an ounce of marijuana in his underwear. All four of the adult vehicle occupants were arrested.
Last year, Florida cops responded to another report of reckless driving. When officers pulled the vehicle over, the driver, Warren Michael III told them that a squirrel, residing under his shirt was eating him.
Michael did end up showing them officers the live squirrel. However, police also noted bloodshot eyes, a stench of alcohol and slurred speech. He was cited for a DUI.
