Nicotine, in combination with MAOI antidepressants, become amphetamine like in its psychological effects and addictive potential. This 'amphetamine effect' and her anti-anxiety, insomnia medications arguably resulted in the wife's antisocial acts towards her husband, including throwing an object at him, two days prior to the marriage breakdown. She admits to this violence, saying, "guilty" to these two policemen in attendance, on 12 December 2012. On 15 November 2012, the wife, with her husband's assistance, checked herself into a psychiatric ward for her suicidal thoughts. On 27 November 2012, the wife checked herself out of psychiatric care because of a long-planned plane trip. From 29 November to 12 December 2012, the wife increased her smoking and nicotine intake, to nearly 1 cigarette per hour, at times. On or about 8 December, when the wife said she was very depressed the husband said to her, "Don't worry, be happy." The wife replied, "I was feeling like I wanted to kill myself. Now, I just want to kill you." During material times, during, and up to the breakdown of the marriage, there were no allegations of danger to the wife, pets, or property.
