A group of motorists surround a drunk driver while waiting for police to arrive.
If you see a drunk driver while on the road, the most common instinct would be to call the cops.
However a group of drivers in Windsor, Canada apparently didn’t want to wait.
They recently took matters into their own hands, completely boxing in a suspected intoxicated driver’s vehicle. Police initially received a report shortly before 9:30 at night concerning a black Jeep which was seen driving erratically.
A little while later, the same vehicle was reported again in a different area. When officers arrived, they saw a group of motorists had surrounded the Jeep with their own vehicles, preventing it from driving any further'.
Police arrested the Jeep’s 41-year-old driver for impaired driving. Earlier this year, another set of motorists stopped a drunk driver on their own.
Police officials in Oregon received complaints concerning a driver who had crashed his Jeep into a guardrail and continued driving erratically down a major interstate. When the Jeep briefly stopped on the inside shoulder, four other drivers boxed the vehicle in and wait for police.
The Jeep’s driver, John M. Clegg was soon arrested.
