Military exercises have started between the U.S. and South Korea, despite threats of a nuclear response from Pyongyang. The four-day drills involve around eight thousand troops, 200 aircraft and 20 ships. America currently has 28 thousand troops based in South Korea and 50-thousand more in Japan.
