The Swedish government's website is reportedly facing a cyber attack from supporters of the arrested whistleblower's founder Julian Assange. He remains in a British prison and faces extradition to Sweden over sexual assault allegations. Around five thousand hackers are now reportedly taking part in the cyber attacks. It comes as the Wikileaks founder is leading an online poll for TIME magazine to be named its person of the year. Amid reports he would be then extradited to the US, some American politicians have even suggested Assange should face execution. Civil rights activist Liam Hanlon who is from Assange's native Australia says there is an ulterior motive for the extradition.
