Looking for a Mobile Handset Testing Analyst to be based out of Southlake, Texas and work long hours in a small RF shielded equipment shelter and conducting numerous mobile telephone call scenario tests (300+ tests). Average Yearly Compensation: $60,278

Additional Responsibilities:
• Flash new software to devices and configure various settings on the mobile device
• Perform all test cases from extensive call scenario test plans
• Test device features against a variety of networks configurations and conditions (hardware failure, network congestion, latency, jitter, etc.)
• Detect device and network specific issues, as well as, report and keep track of each issue’s resolution. If an issue is discovered, expected to make best effort in determining where the issue lies, is it a network facing issue or a software handset specific issue?
• Perform root cause analysis for issues from captured network and mobile phone logs
• Organize troubleshooting sessions with different network and device vendors
• Host meetings and report to Project Manager and Device Teams
• Keep track of all these tests, capture the logs, analyze the logs and make sure these call scenarios follow the call flow standard for each type of call

Required Skills:
• Advanced knowledge working with mobile devices testing tools such as Wireshark and Qualcomm QXDM
• Bachelors Degree in area of specialty
• Experience with handheld device testing with Android, Blackberry, Windows, Apple mobile software
• Experience with network configuration and functions (CDMA, IMS/LTE and VoIP)
• Experience with RF shield room testing (this room is a small 10’ x 10’ room)

Preferred Experience & Education:
• Experience with Call Flows, SIP messaging and VoIP
• Masters Degree in area of specialty
• Previously held similar title and responsibilities
