A Russian-built rocket has launched successfully from the European spaceport in French Guiana - taking with it a payload of mostly spy satellites for France. One of the civilian uses, though, is that one of the satellites will provide us with high-resolution 3D colour images of the Earth. Also on board is a Chilean eye-in-the-sky, which will be used for mapping farmlands. It's only the second time a Russian rocket has blasted off from outside former Soviet countries - following a similar successful mission last month in French Guiana.
