2012-04-06 8 Dailymotion

A new study has shown that eating 3-4oz of red meat with each meal may increase a person's risk of death by a staggering 12%. This study, which followed data over the course of 28 years, also shows that the same daily serving size may increase cardiovascular disease by 16% and the risk of developing cancer by 10%. On top of those statistics, it was shown that processed meats may increase the risk of death up to 20%. Dr. Samadi points out that this study helps us to identify areas in which we can make efforts to improve our health; such as replacing red meats with poultry and fish.
