Heavy flooding soaks Cambodia

2011-09-14 40 Dailymotion

Flooding brought on by heavy rains pours into areas along Cambodia's border with Thailand.
Swollen rivers break their banks and spill into nearby towns and farmland - causing damage to local infrastructure and rice fields.
Excavators have been sent to the area to help drain water from towns - where schools, shops, and government offices are closed.
The Ministry of Water and Meteorology issued warnings on September 13 for residents to take necessary precautions against the flooding.
But there have been no reports of casualties or severe damage.
