Razed Roof: Inclusion Through Practice, Essex is competing for Best Arts Project
It is an inclusive performing arts group for people with and without learning disabilities. Its members work together to put on shows whilst developing a wide range of skills.
The recently National Lottery-funded project run by Razed Roof Inclusion Through Practice was a series of weekly, day-long sessions for a group of people with severe learning difficulties and disabilities, working alongside young people from mainstream education. The funding also helped Razed Roof put on a summer community event at the Harlow Museum gardens, attended by 200 people.
