C3, a vendor of energy management software, has announced that among its leading customers and partners are Adobe, GE, HP, and Siemens. The list also includes Accenture, Deloitte, Pacific Gas and Electric, and Wipro, among others. Sustainability consultants said that C3’s unveiling of its customer list is a sign of the company’s move from “stealth” mode to full-on operations in the rapidly growing energy management software category.
The National Urban League has named Rose Stuckey Kirk, President of the Verizon Foundation, as one of their 2011 Women of Power. Kirk was cited for her leadership in education, specifically for Verizon Thinkfinity, an interactive educational platform that provides free resources for students and teachers. The Verizon Foundation focuses on creating lasting change in the areas of education, domestic violence prevention, and online safety.
