There is really only one pro that I can think of, in that it gives you a bolt of energy for that particular period of time. But there are more cons than pros, those being that the energy drinks tend to have a lot of sugar added to them, and when you have a lot of sugar, you have a lot of calories. So people who are trying to lose weight, and they are drinking a lot of these throughout the day, is really not a good idea. Another concern that I have with them is that a lot of the energy drinks have ingredients added to them like ginseng, etc. that are really not approved by the FDA, so that is a concern. And thirdly, a lot of the energy drinks are marketed towards your younger generation, and so they are drinking a lot of these energy drinks and getting that hyped-up effect, which can become addictive for them.
