Real systems integration is different. Transcript The question for this video are whether the major consulting firms are actually systems integrators. Our answer would be not really. While they do integrate the software of the major vendor's different products for their clients, their consulting practices are built around the major vendors and this means they most often take a single vendor approach. This gives little opportunity for smaller vendors who often have the functionality that would match the client requirements to be considered. The argument proposed by the large consulting companies is that the major software vendors' products can be customized.
