Pahalgam (J&K), May 27, 2025 (ANI): After meeting with leading tour and travel operators in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah emphasized the importance of their role as ambassadors for the region. "They should all leave from here as our ambassadors. That would be the biggest thing," he stated. Highlighting the need to revive tourism following the April 22 incident, Abdullah mentioned efforts to gradually reopen affected destinations. He added, "Their arrival here is a positive message in itself... Meeting locals and visiting places like Gulmarg sends a strong, encouraging signal. We appreciate and thank them for this."
