India’s largest dairy brand, Amul, has increased milk prices by ₹2 per litre, effective May 1, 2025. The price hike applies across all major markets, including Amul Gold, Amul Taaza, and other popular variants. The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) stated that the price revision is due to a rise in production and operational costs, including cattle feed, packaging, and transportation.
