Description: Churu (Rajasthan), April 18, 2025 (ANI): Rajasthan’s Churu is grappling with intense heatwave conditions as temperatures crossed over 40 degrees Celsius on April 18. Churu is recognised for its extreme temperatures, both in summer and winter. During the summer months, temperatures can soar to as high as 50 degrees Celsius, while in winter, they may drop below zero. “We have set up rest shelters for the commuters, and we are also sprinkling water on the roads. Our priority is also to set up special wards in hospitals to deal with heat-related illnesses. We are also trying to increase the green cover here,” said Abhishek Surana.
