Cody Balmer was charged with terrorism, attempted murder, and arson, according to The Wall Street Journal. Balmer allegedly broke into the Pennsylvania governor’s mansion early Sunday and set multiple fires while Governor Josh Shapiro and his family slept upstairs. According to a criminal complaint, Balmer used Molotov cocktails made from beer bottles filled with gasoline and admitted he would have attacked Shapiro had he encountered him. He reportedly scaled a fence, broke windows, and deployed two incendiary devices that caused significant damage to the piano and dining rooms.
