French authorities on Tuesday (April 15) said several prisons were attacked overnight amid a government crackdown on drug trafficking in the country.
Unknown assailants fired at a prison in La Farlede near Toulon, while vehicles were torched outside other facilities in places including Villepinte, Nanterre and Valence.
