President Donald Trump confirmed Sunday that consumer electronics will still face tariffs, saying that nobody is off the hook, according to Bloomberg. Trump said the exempted electronics are simply being reassigned to a different tariff category, with plans to review semiconductors and the entire electronics supply chain for future levies. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the products would move under a new tariff focused on reshoring tech production, likely with a lower rate than 125% but potentially higher than 10%.
