Chennai, April 12, 2025 (ANI): BJP National Spokesperson CR Kesavan on April 12 lashed out at DMK deputy general secretary and MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi over her remarks on BJP-AIADMK alliance and said that people will never forgive DMK because they know they are aligning with Congress out of sheer opportunism. “Kanimozhi should explain why the DMK is being so hypocritical, unprincipled and double-faced... Why is the DMK aligning with the Congress? Was it not the Congress government during the Emergency, which dismissed Karunanidhi, her father's government? Was it not the Congress Party which was responsible in 1991 for dismissing the DMK government? Why is the DMK now aligning with the Congress party?... People will never forgive the DMK because they know they are aligning with Congress out of sheer opportunism. This is why the victorious BJP-AIADMK alliance will defeat and boot out the divisive DMK-Congress alliance in the coming assembly,” said CR Kesavan.
