The ongoing anti-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district has resulted in a major success for Indian security forces. Two Pakistani terrorists were killed today, including Jaish-e-Mohammed’s top commander Saifullah. This follows the elimination of another terrorist yesterday, taking the total number of militants neutralized in the operation to three.According to intelligence sources, Saifullah was one of the most wanted Pakistani operatives active in the Kishtwar region. He had been involved in orchestrating several terror activities and was instrumental in radicalizing and recruiting local youth into terror networks. His elimination is being seen as a huge blow to the JeM’s presence in Jammu and Kashmir.The security forces acted on specific inputs and carried out a coordinated operation in the hilly terrains of Kishtwar. A large cache of arms and ammunition has also been recovered from the site.With this success, the morale of the security personnel is high, and combing operations are still underway in the region to ensure there are no remaining threats.
