Malda (WB), April 11, 2025 (ANI): West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on April 11 slammed Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind (JUH) for tearing saffron flag during protest on Waqf (Amendment) Act and said that they attacked the faith of Hindus. “...They attacked the faith of Hindus - the way they tore the saffron flag (during protest) in front of police is a matter of shame, and that too at the birthplace of Swami Vivekananda. Hindu organisations filed an FIR just yesterday. Today we will protest at DC Central. Tomorrow is Hanuman Jayanti and we will protest across West Bengal,” said Suvendu Adhikari.
