Description: Chennai, April 08, 2025 (ANI): After Supreme Court issued a sharp rebuke to Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi for delaying his decision on several bills passed by the state legislature, DMK Spokesperson TKS Elangovan on April 08 said that he cannot withhold his assent. “...When a bill is passed by the State Legislature, Governor should immediately give assent. If he finds that there is any issue which may go against Constitution, he can send the bill to the President, but he cannot withhold his assent. If he wants to withhold the bill, he has to tell why he is holding the bill?...” says TKS Elengovan.
