The Surya Tilak of Lord Ram was performed at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya at 12 noon on the occasion of Ram Navami. A ray of sunlight, carefully directed through a system of mirrors and lenses, illuminated the forehead of Ram Lalla's idol, forming a glowing tilak.
