Stellantis is halting production at two assembly plants in Canada and Mexico due to President Trump's new 25% automotive tariffs, according to CNBC. The automaker will pause production for two weeks at its Windsor Assembly Plant in Canada and the entire month of April at its Toluca Assembly Plant in Mexico, starting Monday. The production halt will affect approximately 5,400 workers. North American chief Antonio Filosa informed employees that the plant downtime is due to the tariffs as the company assesses its options.
