PH procurement of US fighter jets to strengthen defense posture -- Palace
Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Friday says the planned procurement of fighter jets from the United States would strengthen the Philippines' defense posture. In a chance interview in Malacanang on April 3, 2025, Bersamin said the US Department of State approved the potential foreign military sale of 20 Lockheed Martin F-16 fighter jets to the Philippines for approximately $5.58 billion.
