The recovery work at the Jalan Putra Harmoni gas pipeline blaze site in Putra Heights is safe, as no gas has been detected in the pipeline, said Subang Jaya OCPD Wan Azlan Wan Mamat.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday (Apr 2), he also stated that the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) is still investigating the explosion’s cause, including the pipeline's integrity.
Wan Azlan also confirmed that no bodies were found during search operations by the Forensic Unit and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) K9 Unit.
