A man carrying a 'firearm' has been shot dead by armed police at a busy train station.
Thames Valley Police confirmed they had been called to Milton Keynes railway station in Buckinghamshire, UK, at 12.55pm today (April 1).
A spokesperson said armed officers responded and challenged the man before shots were fired by police.
Life-saving actions were immediately taken at the scene, but the man was pronounced dead at 1.44pm.
