Trump promises 'rebirth' of US, says will be 'kind' with tariffs as deadline looms
US President Donald Trump says he will be "very kind" to trading partners when he unveils further tariffs this week, risking global turmoil to address what he says are unfair trade imbalances. "In a sense it's a rebirth of the country," he says in the Oval Office, where he signs an executive order alongside musician Kid Rock.
