Cloud over northern and eastern parts of the UK will start to disappear as we head into the midnight period, before cloud then starts to increase from the west. This cloud will first affect western Scotland, where patchy rain is possible and Northern Ireland, before moving into western Wales and far southwest England by the early hours of the night. Breezy conditions likely in northwest Scotland also.
