NU tightens grip on top spot after win over FEU in UAAP 87 women's volleyball
The NU Lady Bulldogs bounce back from their 5-set loss to the UP Fighting Maroons after stopping the FEU Lady Tamaraws, 25-22, 24-26, 26-24, 25-18, in the UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on March 30, 2025. Alyssa Solomon hammered 30 points on 26 attacks, three blocks, and one ace to lead NU, which solidified its grip on the top spot, with a 9-1 slate. Faida Bakanke banged 21 points and six digs for the Lady Tamaraws who dropped to 6-4 for third place.
