Avey posted on the social media platform X that she was frustrated by the direction taken after Anne Wojcicki assumed full control. Avey said 23andMe lost its way due to a lack of consumer-focused innovation and governance, missing a chance to advance personalized health. The company will seek qualified bids over 45 days, pending approval.
