Chris Miller, the author of "Chip War: The Fight for The World's Most Critical Technology," said China's efforts to build its own chip supply chain is stronger than ever, and that with U.S. President Donald Trump back in office, the international trading system is at the cusp of transformation. At an event hosted by Taipei-based think tank DSET, Miller said TSMC's continued unmatched leadership in making advanced chips puts the firm and Taiwan in a strong position.
