Abbas’ advisor: Hamas should have no part in rebuilding the Gaza Strip
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “My sincere advice to Hamas is that it should stay away from anything related to this issue [of rebuilding the Gaza Strip] or the future of the Gaza Strip. Hamas must admit in full sincerity that it has failed. It gambled with the Palestinian future and the welfare of the Palestinian people. It put the Palestinian people into dark tunnels that claimed thousands of Martyrs and wounded and caused the near total destruction of the Gaza Strip (i.e., 2023 Gaza war). Therefore, no sensible person could do the same thing twice and expect different results.”
