According to Bloomberg, Malaysia plans to tighten oversight of Nvidia chip shipments following a U.S. request to monitor advanced semiconductor exports that may reach China. Trade Minister Zafrul Abdul Aziz said Washington asked Malaysia to ensure servers with Nvidia chips are delivered to designated data centers and not redirected. The move follows a Singapore investigation into servers allegedly rerouted from the city-state to Malaysia. Malaysia said it has found no fraud evidence but will continue cooperating with the U.S. and Singapore on tech trade enforcement.
