Fahim Khan, identified as the mastermind behind the Nagpur riots, has been arrested and is in police custody until 21st March. He spread a false rumour about a holy cloth being burnt at Aurangzeb's tomb, which triggered the violence. Khan, who contested parliamentary elections against Nitin Gadkari, mobilised a crowd outside a police station on Monday afternoon. The riots led to attacks on police officials, including women officers.
