At the start of the afternoon it will be cloudy in most parts of the UK, though there will be some blue skies in northern Scotland, with isolated showers in southern England. As the afternoon progresses the cloud will break up a little in eastern England for some sunshine later on in the day but elsewhere it will remain cloudy but dry.
