Hundreds of demonstrators marched from Times Square to Columbus Circle in New York on March 15 to demand the release of activist and US green card holder Mahmoud Khalil.
Mahmoud was arrested by immigration personnel on March 8 for his role in pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University which riled up “anti-Jewish” sentiment and amounted to support for Hamas.
