BLA Train Hijacking: 214 Hostages Executed? Pakistan’s Crisis Deepens
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claims to have executed 214 military hostages after the 48-hour deadline for a prisoner swap expired. The Pakistani military, however, insists that the train siege ended after a 30-hour battle, killing all 33 insurgents.
🚆 The crisis began when BLA militants hijacked the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express, taking over 400 passengers hostage, including Pakistani soldiers. The group demanded the release of Baloch political prisoners, accusing the government of abductions and human rights violations.
🔴 While the Pakistani Army reported 23 soldiers, three railway employees, and five passengers dead, the BLA disputes these claims, insisting that the hostage standoff continues.
⚠️ The situation remains tense, raising serious concerns about security and Balochistan’s ongoing insurgency. Will Pakistan take further military action?
