In this video, we'll fix the "PatchClientDLL::CheckDatFiles Failed" error in The Lord of the Rings Online launcher. This error can happen while updating the game through the launcher.
To fix it, follow the steps,
1. Go to the game installation folder
If you play Lord of the Rings Online through Steam, the default game installation folder is located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lord of the Rings Online"
2. Delete "client_sound.dat"
3. Delete "client_sound_aux_1.datx"
4. Delete "patchcache.bin"
5. Start the launcher again
