In a future where space travel is normal, a spaceship carrying a diverse crew crashes on a desolate desert planet after being struck by meteoric debris. The few surviving crew members, led by pilot Carolyn, must contend with the potential threat of Riddick, a dangerous convict, while navigating the alien landscape inhabited by deadly creatures.
