Indigenous community performs ritual to bless Oscar-nominated Brazilian film
In a small village in the Amazon, shaman A-ya Kukamiria performs a traditional Indigenous ritual to "support" both the actor and the character portrayed in the Oscar-nominated Brazilian film "Ainda Estou Aqui" ["I'm Still Here"] before the awards ceremony. The event takes place at the sustainably built "Cine Aldeia" in Manaus, fostering cultural unity and promoting local film screenings.
