On February 16, 2025, Cory Green captured footage of Starlink satellites soaring across the night sky towards a US Coast Guard training facility in Petaluma, California.
While driving with his family, Green initially mistook the objects for power lines but soon realized they were moving in a straight line, leading him to identify them as part of a "Starlink satellite train."
Having worked with aircraft in the US military, Green described the sight as unlike anything he had seen before, noting the unusual alignment and surprising movement of the satellites.
