The Independent Police Conduct Commission (IPCC) has resolved four out of eight investigation papers since its establishment, says Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
Responding to a question from Khoo Poay Tiong (PH-Kota Melaka) in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Feb 17) regarding the IPCC’s achievements up to the end of 2024, Saifuddin noted that while the commission has the authority to investigate and recommend disciplinary action, some cases must be referred to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for corruption-related matters or to the police for serious crimes.
