The 25-year-old was part of a team overseeing federal spending under DOGE, which has played a major role in reshaping government agencies since President Trump’s inauguration. His resignation came hours after a U.S. District Court judge ruled that he could continue accessing Treasury payment systems with limited data-sharing abilities. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent defended DOGE employees, calling them “highly trained professionals.”
