The order directs multiple federal agencies to prioritize water deliveries to Southern California in response to recent wildfires, stating that “actively harmful State or local policies” must be overridden to ensure sufficient resources. The order also proposes federal control of the Central Valley Project and calls for a review of all California-related disaster and water management funding.
