German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is in Ukraine on a surprise visit. It is his first trip to the country since the early months of Russia's invasion in 2022. Scholz reaffirmed his Germany's support for Ukraine, announcing US$680 million in additional arms deliveries to Kyiv.
