The Prime Minister says that advice by an Assistant Commissioner of Police to women about how to avoid domestic violence is very similar to statements he made on the subject a few years ago for which he was heavily criticised.
The Prime Minister spoke on the matter in Parliament on Thursday, in reference to what he called the "horrendous situation" of the double homicide of a woman and her infant baby in Barrackpore by the woman's alleged former partner.
