UP Fighting Maroons rookie Pling Baclay reset her career-high in blocks after tallying nine in a 21-25, 32-30, 17-25, 19-25 loss to the NU Lady Bulldogs in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Baclay, whose previous best was seven against the UE Lady Warriors last Sunday, made her career block game exactly five years after Maddie Madayag posted the league record of 11 in Ateneo's 19-25, 22-25, 27-25, 25-22, 15-11 win over UST.
